Madame's Notes: My Bronx Tales

I moved to the North Bronx almost 2 years ago and I don't know much about this borough besides my neighborhood, the few family members that reside here and the Bronx Zoo. I spend most of my time working, socializing and playing in Manhattan (my birth place and family) and Brooklyn. I never feel compelled to do anything socially in the Bronx and feel there is nothing good about it except the affordable rent. Maybe I'm wrong and the next time I'm on the train going into the city I'll look out the window and give the Bronx another look. I'll keep you posted on my Bronx Tales... Fashionably of course.

Madame's Notes: A Cure for the Madness

During my college years finding a place to sit and recap my day and assignments was a piece of cake. It was so natural and comforting that a thousand people can surround me and I wouldn't get distracted. In those days I was involved with different activities and organizations so I was balanced and it kept me pumped up. Now it's not quite that easy with work and my personal life because at times one demands more than the other and the balance is lost. However I keep on that cape fighting for success and healthy relationships. I try to frequently travel and hang out with friends and love ones ( I do love the time we share) but I don't do a lot of things by myself and that may be the problem. So I think my cure is simple: finding some ME TIME or flat out taking it easy ( I just realized my problem while writing this note lol). Writing is my therapy but loving and being there for myself will keep me grounded. So don't judge me if you see me watching a movie alone. I'm just trying to stay sane!

p.s Me Time will start next week because this weekend it's Ladies Night Out! Stay tuned...
