The production of our Madamette holiday campaign was just flat out fabulous. Our glam squad hovered over the girls with anticipation to transform our lovely Madamettes into fairy divas. In vintage glam style! Watching Angelina and Kimberly come alive to our vision, was just breath taking. Gold skirts, red lips, embellished bustiers, sequins skirts, tons of shoes and faux furs filled the set. Yes, a Madamette wardrobe is always fierce, fun and ready for any occasion.

It's Holiday and of course, one must carry on looking fabulous.  It's that special time of the year to pull out all the bedazzled pieces you've been dying to wear again.  Give your look, the Royalty treatment. Yes, yes go over the moon with it.

Madamettes Must Wear: Fabulous Layers

Trend Blast

If you live in the east coast, this post is especially for you: How to layer your most loved pieces to keep you warm and of course chic. 

For the fashionistas who believe wearing too much clothing cramps their style, Belstaff's Fall/Winter Ready-to-Wear  runway collection gives us an warm inspiration, showing us layering in fluffy parkas, cozy sweaters and leather jackets is just as cool. Just think of it this way, you get to wear a few of your favorite pieces all at once : ).

Here's some #madamette inspiration for an instant chic look:

Simply take an oversized sweater or sweat shirt, pair it with a fitted turtleneck and with a pair of fitted jeans or trousers.

Pretty   Chic in Pink


From the time we girls are born, the color pink surrounds our world. From our baby blankets to our wall paper, this famous color is best known for being a must wear shade for young girls and for adults who can't seem to let it go.

Many believe pink could easily be associated with being "childish" or inappropriate for "real women" to wear.  Some believe it should only be worn during valentines day or only during spring. If you ask me, I think there is just too many dress code policies and rules to follow. Have fun with your wardrobe in any color you desire!

 I'm excited to see designers challenge our perception of pink with their Fall runway collections. Designer Phillip Lim used a darker shade, pairing pink skirts with brown parkas and black motor jackets, giving the color a more grungy yet chic appeal. Blumarine's Fall Ready- To -Wear collection is the opposite of Lim's. Their soft pink paint suit, is far from masculine. The blazer's deep V cut is revealing and most of all daring . Both collections highlight a very important factor: our femininity can not be tamed or categorized. We are women, no matter what color we wear or how we choose to wear it. It's not only our right, it's our business.

White dresses in fall? Your favorite egg-shell pumps paired with jewel tone pieces? Oh yes indeed! Who ever created the rule "No white after labor day", probably isn't living anymore. Seriously, fashion rules are for fools. We only ask our Madamettes to commit to dressing with passion and purpose. Serve them something fierce!

This season, floral prints are a must do. Maybe it's the cool air and leaves changing colors, it somehow gives us that urge to translate that same change in our wardrobe. Given the fact that we have no choice but to dress warm. Why not do it fabulously?

For our "Haute Hipster" F13 Style Campaign, we pulled out a pair of H&M floral trousers we used for our spring campaign and showed how you can wear them again during the fall. We also wanted to go against the theory that floral prints are only for old ladies. Designers like Alice + Oliva has also proven florals are chic, with her Fall 2013 Ready to Wear collection. Not to mention, retailers like Forever 21 and Nasty Gal gives you runway-inspired looks at great prices.

Behind The Scenes: "Haute Hipster" Style Campaign

There's nothing like low-key glamour. If there is even such a thing. Fashionistas usually have a hard time pulling that off even when they make it look so damn effortless.

This campaign was all about the Madamettes who love their jeans and rugged attire paired with high fashion pieces like faux furs, bejeweled shades and sequins tops. The list goes on.

We know it is important for all girls and women everywhere, to get the most out of their wardorbe. Why not wear that special gown more than once? Who says you can't wear your most comfortable jogging pants with your favorite oversized leather jacket?
