This season, floral prints are a must do. Maybe it's the cool air and leaves changing colors, it somehow gives us that urge to translate that same change in our wardrobe. Given the fact that we have no choice but to dress warm. Why not do it fabulously?

For our "Haute Hipster" F13 Style Campaign, we pulled out a pair of H&M floral trousers we used for our spring campaign and showed how you can wear them again during the fall. We also wanted to go against the theory that floral prints are only for old ladies. Designers like Alice + Oliva has also proven florals are chic, with her Fall 2013 Ready to Wear collection. Not to mention, retailers like Forever 21 and Nasty Gal gives you runway-inspired looks at great prices.

Behind The Scenes: "Haute Hipster" Style Campaign

There's nothing like low-key glamour. If there is even such a thing. Fashionistas usually have a hard time pulling that off even when they make it look so damn effortless.

This campaign was all about the Madamettes who love their jeans and rugged attire paired with high fashion pieces like faux furs, bejeweled shades and sequins tops. The list goes on.

We know it is important for all girls and women everywhere, to get the most out of their wardorbe. Why not wear that special gown more than once? Who says you can't wear your most comfortable jogging pants with your favorite oversized leather jacket?

Our Madamettes understands that value of wardrobe. It is all about the quality and what you do in your most loved pieces.

We live by our motto Dress with Purpose. Dress for Dreams.

Love Always,

 xoxo Madame Q

Madamette Style File: Raven in Politics

At 22, Raven Robinson is laying her ground in the political world, developing a brand that will help expose strong community leaders to the world. Her company, PR2 Politics, has helped political leaders like Mercedes Narcisse, Monica Marinda, National Dance and plenty more strive to make a difference.

"I started PR2  Politics to help promote urban development. I want to represent leaders who want to see all communities flourish no matter the economic differences. We can't not move forward a country if our communities are not in order," said Raven.

Raven always had a passion for politics, for as long as she can remember. Growing up in the North Bronx,  she was exposed to a lot of cultural diversity and economic strengths. It wasn't until Raven traveled to school south of her borough, when she realized how different the communities were. She noticed the differences in a lot of her schoolmates.

"Their outlook on life was a lot different from mine and a lot of my old school friends. A lot of them couldn't see life past the Bronx, they're were some who dreamed but didn't believe it was possible and then they're were a handful of them with plans to go to college.

It broke my heart to know these differences and that's when I knew I wanted to help make a difference in communities", said Raven.

We give a high five to Raven, for going after her dreams to make a difference in urban communities. She is an inspiration for a lot of young girls and young adults looking for different examples of hard work and leadership . Way to go Raven, you're truly a Madamette!

Here are some cool Style Confessions from Raven:

MQ: What is your favorite thing to wear when off duty?
RR:  Jeans and Blazer. Yes most definitely

MQ: Where do you buy your jeans from?
RR: wherever I can find Joe's Jeans, I'm good.

MQ: Yeah? Why do you love them so much?
RR: I'm a women with curves and a lot of designers don't create jeans for women like me. Joe's fit me perfectly and they haven been my go to designer for years.

MQ: Do you have any accessory obsessions?
RR: Laughs. Yes I do. Bags and trendy jewelry. I love bags that are colorful and/or different.  Betsey Johnson always gives me that quick fix.

MQ: Is there any celebrity style you like the most?
RR: Well I do like what Rihanna style but thats definitely not for me. She rocks it well and it just suits her perfectly.
MQ: She's a rebel. I love it.

RR: There is also, Jennifer from Basket Ball Wives. I know the show can be controversial but I like that she is always dolled up no matter what. I loved that she has a Political Science degree. She's smart and stylish.

MQ: Would you consider her style being your alter ego style
RR: Yes definitely. I consider my style being a little relaxed. Polished. I should try taking more risk. smiles.
MQ: Risk never hurts. You should try it.

MQ: Which celebrity would you like to see get a makeover?
RR: Oh no. Please. Do I have to answer?
MQ: Yes mam

RR: Oh boy. well. Since you asked. I think Royce from Basket Ball Wives definitely needs a makeover. She is a beautiful lady but insist on looking like a child. I don't think she needs to look like a glam goodness. But she definitely can elevate her wardrobe.
MQ: Agreed.

MQ: What's the funniest thing you ever did with your wardrobe?
RR: In high school I came to school dressed as a congress woman for Halloween
MQ: What!!!!
RR: Yes. I took myself seriously. laughs. I was so passionate about politics.
MQ: cool

Letter From The Editor: Fall In Love

Posing in my new vinyl trench I found at Installation Boutique in Brooklyn, NY.

Autumn by far, is my most loved season. It's the time for new story telling with some of my beloved pieces. My closet was organized and ready for new fall trends ever since mid July. I couldn't wait! Too add the icing, I've already started wearing some of my favorite trench coats and chic boots even though it's still a bit warm here in NYC.

I know,  I know, it's crazy but trust me I'm not alone. There are thousands of fashionistas running around the city who apparently had the same idea. I didn't always have this lovely relationship with my fall wardrobe. In fact, summer was once my favorite season, especially in my early school days.

No outerwear! Less clothing meant more freedom because we finally had a break from school. It was a time to relax and run wild with friends. I never liked wearing a coat because I thought it covered too much. Which left me with very little options in my closet.

I only wore my trench coats to church and other formal occasions, I had north face coats that are only meant only for the cold. I never thought they were fashionable except for the slim ice blue diamond cut one I owned, the other huge puffers totally cramped my style.

Then of course there was the jean jacket that I was tired off. I didn't have the perfect jacket that gave me the right balance to wear with most things. I went out on a hunt, I just had to find that magical fit. I scavenged the mall and thrift stores all over town, finally I scored a brown leather jacket on sale for $30 at the Gap. I wore it with every outfit.

I couldn't believe it took my junior year of high school to finally find the perfect jacket. I realized how powerful it is to the overall look. I'm currently obsessed with all types of outwear but especially trench coats, faux furs and leather biker jackets.

I guess everyone has they're own discoveries and that's what makes fashion so much fun. So cheers to YOU, were going to help you find that special piece, rather it be a jacket or a new pair of shoes.
