Contagious Love

I truly believe love is the healer of all pain because love is God's blessings. I have first hand experience with it myself and it teaches me to be patient, strong and faithful. Watching people love each other tickles me as well as inspire. Here are some pics of some of my family, friends, strangers and stars demonstrating intimate love.

Beyonce or shall I say Sasha Fierce?

Lady B always gives a great show but there is something different about Mrs. Prim. She is no longer hiding the roaring tiger she is. Each year she raises the bar for herself making it harder for any female artist to top her. In her video "Diva" B never shows up, Sasha takes over and goes wild. From silver fringe shades, ridiculously fab booties, flamingo like dresses..... Fashionistas everywhere will be following her style for 2009. Keeping on keeping on with the fierceness!

You Better Be Kissed By Rain!

They say in order for a seed to grow, it must receive lots of water. Well let it rain, let it rain! No matter who you are achieving goals and trying to get notice can be a struggle. You might hear the word no plenty of times and some yeses here and there but do not give up. It is definitely worth going through the storm because it only makes us stronger. I had always associated rain with sorrow, that is until I started understanding my path to success and having the blessing of meeting others who have overcome many obstacles in life.
With that said, ironically Madame's Mirror had the opportunity to meet a young talented woman by the name of Rain, exuse me i mean MS. Rain the Fashionista aka Miss "i,m about to take over"

There is something about NYC girls, there is a swagger no other has on this earth. Especially Ms. Rain the young fashion designer on the rise. From having her collection, being featured in Seventeen Magazine, fabulously exposed in Young, Black and Fabulous website, previewing her collections through state and city colleges and styling MISS New York (the real pageant winner Miss New York); folks this girl is on fire! As Ms. Rain puts it, "It is only just the beginning and there is a lot more to be done."

Dressed in some blue jeans and an oversized hoodie the Fashionista began sharing her life with Madame's Mirror. Ms. Rain full of passion starts sharing her story starting with her Grandmother being the inspiration for her gift of sewing and designing. Ms. Rain folds her arms over each other like she is giving herself a hug and says, "My Grandmother taught me how to sew when i was younger, i have been sewing since the age of six and by age 13, i had my very own fashion show , it was at my
church. I just took everybody's jeans who was walking in the show and added my own design. Everyone loved it!"

Just a few years ago Ms. Rain explains how she did not know what she wanted to do. "I do not understand how I thought I would get out of doing fashion, I was born to be a designer. There are many people who can be against you but you have to keep pushing. I have my faith, times can get really hard and all I do is pray because I know thats what works and his trust gets me far." MS. Rain pauses and says, "If people are going to dream, why not dream big?"

The kissed By Rain collection is based out of Brooklyn and has reigned the streets of NYC for 4 years. The collection is full of energy and sass! It is designed for any bold and electrifying young lady. From hoodies to dresses, MS. Rain has you covered in FAB pieces that will turn heads anywhere.

So what is next for Kissed by Rain? An over the top Spring 09 collection, Eco-friendly bags, a mens clothing, shoes and accessory collection and Project Fashion. She has a busy schedule so why wait to be kissed? For more information on an order email Ms. Rain at haveyoubeenkissedbyrain@gmail.com.

Stay tuned for more on Ms. Rain,

H&M Store Opens In Tokyo!

Good Day all my fellow Fashionitas! Winter is in the air and I couldn’t feel any trendier! I heard read some Fabulous news today! I read that H&M is opening its first store in Tokyo! Once I heard this I knew I had to spill the details to all of my Madames who must be informed about all Fashion news around the world! We all know that the Harajuku trend started in beloved Tokyo and made its way qucikely into the states. Now a part of us is over there, and that part is one of our the trendiest stores H&M!
The store opened this past Saturday, but eager shoppers were waiting on line for this store to open! Over 2000 eager shoppers were waiting on line for days. This is H&M’s very first flagship store in Japan. The New Store looks like a skyscraper. Its four levels and it is an asymmetric glass building, it is one of the tallest buildings in Japan’s busy street of Meiji. It is near Japans busiest intersection of Omotesando Avenue(Just in case you wanted to stop by!)
Along with the opening of this fabulous store that looks like a skyscraper, many hot trends were launched! These trends included, boiled wool pea coats, Harem pants and Polka-dot cardigans.
If I had to put my money on it, I would bet that this is the hottest H&M store in the world! I know the Harajuku girls are going to create new and over the top trends! We may have hundreds of H&M stores in the U.S but something tells me Japan will have the craziest pieces. I know where I am going soon as I land in Japan, I hope you do too!

Madame’s Fashion Book!

Hey yall! Madame’s Fashion Book is back at it again! This time I am taking time out for Rihanna and Trina! Both Ladies are rocking The Louie V hard! But I must ask you, whom do you think rocked it better? I must go with my Girl Rihanna on this one! I loved how she simply wore all black making the bag the highlight of her look! Good Job Ri Ri that’s how you do it! I must say that Trina made me sad. I don’t understand why you would wear such a wildy colored dress with such a fab bag? I mean the bag brings out the best in every outfit so why try so hard? I say better luck next time Trina!

Sigerson Morrison for Target

Target always have great deals..... no matter what you need they have it! No to mention great designer shoes and bags for all the right prices. Just when I thought I was going to search for house warming gifts, I could not help but to click on the women shoes tab. AND There they were.... standing right before my eyes bright and beautiful, a pair of Sergison Morrison booties! My mouth dropped at the fierce purple suede feature and the oh so perfect price of $39.99. The booties are a super do so this season and thanks to Target they are ridiculously FAB and accessible. You can not beat it and if so prove it!

Sigerson Morrison is no Rookie when it comes to delivering over the top shoes. His collection are at other best locations like Saks Fifth Avenue, Barneys, Neiman Marcus and other upscale fashion houses but of course the dollar amount is a great difference. It does not matter if we pay $40 or $400 for a pair of Morrison's shoes they all have the same exquisite attitude!

America dust your shoulders off! We have Obama for president!!!! I am extremely happy and hope we continue supporting each other getting through these hard times. Just because we have a black man as president does not mean our problems will quickly disappear. Take this election as a sign that hard work and dedication pays off. If you believe then you damn sure can achieve. Lets inspire our family and neighbors to go after their dreams and goals. what good is it if we do not share our knowledge with others? How will we grow as people, communities or citizens?
Please do not put Obama too high on a pedestal, remember he is still a human being like the rest of us. It is going to take a while before things get better. Trust in your faith that Obama will try his best to get things done. Most of all remember the government can not take care of all of our needs, we must do our part as well.
