Ladies and Gents introducing Wobie. Yes Wobie... He struts the runways with male and female models in local shows in NYC. He does kids and adults parties as well! This dog has a more fabulous schedule than many of us. Rather you think this little precious dog is at risk for a bad reaction to the purple dye or is the most purrtiest dog you ever saw.... The color makes you stare...... Ladies we luv us some colorful teddy bears well at least a lot of us do! To think you can have your dog's hair dyed makes you want to test it out. Is it terribly wrong or fabulously right? You be the judge!

Fashion Week is almost over. Of course I am emotionally sad but my feet are psychically happy! But before I give you a spin of what is coming this Spring 09, I must give you a little fall 08 preview. Madame's Mirror Fashion Book

Hey Ladies it is your Girl coming straight from Madame’s Mirror own Fashion Book! So.... I was looking at my closet the other day and I was in need of some kicks! But I didn't want any air force ones or converses! I wanted something different and interesting! Off I went to search the city and I came across the Simmons sisters Pastry Line! Yes the beloved daughters of Russell Simmons have a clothing line! Yup and you guessed it Angela and Vanessa are doing their thing!!! Pastry is a line that is so fresh and creative their colors are irresistible! I mean literally! There prints include delicious images of foods. Yummy!

What I love most about the line is that any piece you rock (Espically the kicks) will make any ordinary outfit stand out!

Letter from the Editor

Would you believe it if I told you the first time I purchased a fashion magazine I was 18 years old! I subscribed to Elle Girl my first year of college and it has been on every since. Growing up in the far North you'd think I would have fashion spreads all over my room since the age of 12 because the fashion scene upstate is no scene at all. Everything is slow and behind. Truthfully no one ever told me what to wear or how to wear. I just wore what I want although no one agreed to it. When most of the girls were rocking Jordan sneakers I wore bright color converses and bowling shoes. Stone washed jeans with a motor leather jacket was my favorite ensemble. No one ever got me at all! I was weird when it all came down to it. Any one who knows me will confess to you some of my most tragic or beautiful moments.

Magazines are affordable fashion philosphy! You can always use them for reference and as a paper back stylist! I luv to read The articles because all fashion writers see things differently. It is important for me to learn from others because it helps me grow. Fashion is an art I deeply appreciate and every thing around me is an inspiration to write or style. It is amazing how many fashion stories and show themes I come up with just by riding the train every morning through NYC. Amazing!

When you hear the name Alexis Phifer, you automatically think of Kanye West. Many people know Alexis as Kanye West’s ex Fiancé, nothing more or nothing less. However there is more to this woman than just dating Mr. College Drop Out. Alexis Phifer is Fashion’s next Top Mogul. All jokes aside the woman is Fly. Her style is amazing and her swag is untouchable, when you see this woman you will see the true definition of Fashion!

At the mere age of 30 years old, Alexis Phifer already has her own clothing line named Ghita, which debuted September 2007. Alexis Phifer has always wanted to be in the fashion industry.

It was the only thing she saw her self doing. Her passion for Fashion lead her to study at the Fashion Institute of technology and merchandising In LA. Soon After the inspiration for Ghita came about.

The Ghita Clothing Line is a line inspired by religious and hippie influences. If your into fashion and admire the designers of the fashion world like I do , you may want to know who your favorite designer admires! Alexis Phifer’s favorite designers are Ricardo Tisci, (he’s a designer for Givenchy,) Nicolas Ghesquiere, he’s a designer for Balenciaga) and Alber Elbaz, (he’s a designer for Lavin).

Just Like any other Gal, Miss Phifer loves to shop and get down at her favorite stores. Her favorite Stores are H&M and Zara. She is an absolute Shoe Addict! Here’s what she had to say about her love of shoes” I think it’s really important to have nice shoes, so I like to splurge on shoes and handbags. Neiman Marcus in one of my favorite stores. I love Balmaine and Colette in Paris.”

The Yellow and White Affair

For the past 7 years my boyfriend's family gives a fabulous boat ride every july. This year theme is yellow and white and everyone look so damn good! Who would think that everyone can look good in yellow? We had a blast dancing and eating..... celebrating life with each other.

There is nothing better than enjoying the company of your friends. They might get on your nerves sometimes but I'm quite sure you get on theirs too! I luv my friends their hot and super FABULOUS!

The Political Stand!

It is July 4th and I am riding the train to meet up with my loved one in BK and thats when I spot this weird but hot get up.I look over to my right and I notice a young man wearing a red, white, and blue plaid shirt. This is an obvious cliche for the holiday but his brown cowboy hat that has an Obama 08 for President pen on the side of it really blows me away. You have to give him credit because this presidential election is really touchy and sensitive, people just do not want to talk about it. The fact that he is young pulls the trigger so you know I had to go and chat with him.

I tell him his outfit is hot and ask him about the inspiration behind it. He tells me basically he dresses like this everyday and he just want people to stand up for who they are what they believe in. He ask me who I want to be president and I tell him Obama he says "well I'm voting for John Mc Cain".

My Partner in Crime!

My partner and crime Madame julissa is always around the city getting the job done. When things get rough she never complains she just look at me and say something crazy. We both will laugh and fight any obstacle that comes our way. She is such an interesting character but of course a fashionable one! Checkout her ensemble...... it is so her.

Just The Right Things!

Ladies and gents I am moving and we all know how stressful that can be. OMG! I need a huge truck just to carry my shoe boxes! My energy has gone out the door but that does not mean I must look like it. I carry around a few pick me uppers to keep me looking fresh. Alex Weks "From a Sundanese Refugee to a International Super Model, keeps my mind at ease and ladies the book is oh so good! I always carry Mac's Studio Fix, Victoria's Secret Ooh La La mist and lip gloss, Maybelline Volum Express "Turbo Boost" and Nars blush! All of these babies give me just what I need and a little more. Besides its timeless effort.... even the book!
